Welcome to my new website – isn’t it gorgeous! I think it is the most amazing website that I have ever seen and I am so proud of it. If you know anything about me, how much my business means to me, or who I am…then you know that this site totally fits my personality. It’s fun, it’s exciting and it’s full of life! So…I have GOT to tell you the whole story of how my new website came to be…
When I first met Hilary, I had no idea what I wanted in a website but I knew that it had to be fun, it had to be exciting and it really had to represent who I am to the world. She spent some time getting to know me and my style and when she finally asked me the big question…What do you want for a website?…I still had no idea. All I knew was that I wanted orange and purple. Now come on…seriously…orange and purple? Together? Really? She didn’t laugh…amazingly. ;0) Instead, she asked me another question that scared the living bejeezus out of me…she said “Do you trust me”? Whoa Nellie…now THAT is a loaded question. But since I am a “live life large” kind of woman…I said yes…ABSOLUTELY. I think that Hilary was up until 3am that night and when I got up that morning there was a link to my new homepage. WOW! I was amazed. This fit ME perfectly. And somehow she had read my mind…when we next spoke we said it almost at the same time…”there are stars on my (your) website”! Me…in a hushed tone of awe that she had read my mind and known exactly what I wanted and her…in an exuberant declaration. How did she know that I love stars? I never told her that I love stars…did I? Then she said it…”I put the stars on Jody, because you are like…a superstar”. She got me…right down to the core. She really, really got me. Somehow in all of the discussion about colors, style and what I wanted in a website, she reached into my head and pulled out my personality and plopped it smack dab in the middle of the internet. And it IS perfect. I absolutely love it. So I ask you…what kind of talent and intuition does it take to really “GET” someone and turn them into a website? It takes someone with personality, the ability to really listen and good old intuition – and that my friends, is Hilary. Don’t just take me at my word – call her. Talk to her and see what she visualizes for your future website. I promise you this…you will be dazzled!
